>I don’t need to say much about INXS because they are so well known. Comprising three of the Farriss brothers and led by charismatic front man Michael Hutchence INXS belted out hit after hit to an appreciative world wide audience. After the death of Hutchence the band went into decline and tried a number of lead singers including temporary acts like Terence Trent D’Arby and Jimmy Barnes before sticking with Jon Stevens for a few years. The band experienced a resurgence in interest with Rock Star:INXS, the TV talent show that sought out a new leader singer, which eventually saw Canadian J.D. Fortune take the reins in 2005. I’ve seen INXS perform with Fortune out front and they were pretty good, with Fortune’s rock star personality clear for all to see.

Choosing songs from the INXS song portfolio is a bit of a challenge but here are the ones that took them to new levels when released.
